This is not an especially elegant wine, nor at 14.5% is it a subtle one. What it is however is thoroughly enjoyable.

As it has been a week since I tasted it, I shall not attempt to remember the specifics of the flavours.

What is much more important is how it made me feel. And this made me feel happy. At a recent BBQ, we went through two bottles in the blink of an eye, when other wines twice this price were hardly touched.

The ultimate in terms of rating a wine is not the 100 point scale, but rather would you buy more. The answer is yes. I am buying a few cases.
