A very interesting and unique wine. Very saline and mineral based, with a strange effervescence on the palette. Not truly enjoyable on its own, but very refreshing with food.
2nd tasting:
Horribly acidic, tastes like lemon juice was added...and a tinge of bubbles-flawed (75pts)
1st tasting:
An easy aka early drinking style of aglianico. Simple red fruit, perhaps some herbs mixed in, and a fairly short finish. Nothing wrong here, just nothing particularly memorable or distinctive. Correct for the price (86pts). tasted June 2017.
