This CC is maturing very nicely. Stylistically, this leans toward the lighter, crisper model of Sangiovese, replete with sour cherry fruit, currants and earth. Oak is but a mere enhancement. The finish is long with fine acidity and tannin. Drinking very nicely now and should hold for a few more years. Tasted May 2019.
90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo. Highly aromatic with savoury, meaty, dark berry, earth, and spice. It's medium-full bodied with supple, rounded tannins that are smooth and have a dusty texture. Juicy acids. Lovely aroma replays. Excellent finish length that is a touch warm. Enjoy over the next 3-5 years. Tasted June/2018.
