A 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile. Medium aromas of blueberry, boysenberry, tomato leaf. There's some clove and a medium to long finish. Tannins are medium to high. Overall a well balanced wine in terms of acidity and alcohol. Solid value.
Almost cool climate in its flavour profile, with notable herbeceous/leafy notes alongside crisp blackberry and cassis flavours. Medium bodied, with far less oak intrusion than the '11 I tasted several years ago. Savoury and well-made. Tasted Dec 2018.
