From the moderate climate of Margaret River, this is a very nicely balanced, medium-bodied cabernet, with more in common with Bordeaux than, say, Barossa. Not at all jammy, but with ripe fruit and some savoury notes of spice and hints of black tea. Oak is so well folded in that you hardly notice it and tannin is soft but providing enough supporting structure. On sale at $17 this is fine value indeed. Good rec by Sara and David. Tasted March 2018.
