Nov 2021 - this is drinking beautifully now. Full bodied, well integrated, dark red fruit. Fantastic with a pan seared steak with red wine reduction (this wine is too good to waste on the reduction - use sparingly).
A full-bodied, rich red from high elevation grapes (mostly shiraz). Certainly leans toward new world styling, with all that ripe bold fruit, and plenty of oak. Everything seems to be in good balance, though, and there is some decent acidity keeping all that ripeness in check. This does finish a bit hot. Tasted July 2018.
