Tasting notes

Dark purple, oak character ,sweet in the palate 104g/L but not too sweet for a dessert wine, smooth, pleasant blackberry and cherry aroma on the nose,medium length.It has nice complexity with a balance of fruits/alcohol/tannins and acid.

I have tasted last night November 29,2016 with :

Dark chocolate - perfect on the palate, like sipping black cherries wine
Alexis de Portneuf-Brie De Saint-Raymond Double creme - the FORTÉ is smooth, blending well, excellent Brie cheese complement
