Really good value.
Really really good value.
An easy-drinking bistro-style red from the Costrieres de Nimes. Light tannin, with bright red fruits, hints of herbs and pepper and some spice on the medium finish. Nothing overly complex but eminently quaffable which is exactly what it is supposed to be. Alas, the wine (as evidence by the sub-$8 price tag) has been discontinued at the LCBO. A shame, this was decent value even at $14. Tasted March 2017.
