Better than fuzion...
Some cherry, blackberry, oak. It's a bit harsh with rough tannins and seemed a touch hot (listed at 13.5% though).. Drinkable. Tasted Dec 2009.
Was at my local LCBO today and saw this Malbec from Argentina for just under $8 ($7.95 plus bottle deposit)
I wasn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. It is actually a pretty good wine.
Nose is full of ripe red fruits.
Taste: Oak dominates this wine. (I like that). Not a lot of tannins and that is okay, just enough to give it a good balance.
A pleasant surprise and a hidden gem. A good buy!
