Not unlike many of its Ontario brethren, laden with limey acidity and minerality, but there's a savoury note that sets this BC riesling apart. Not sure if it's sagebrush, as JS suggests, but whatever it is, I like it.
The medium-high intensity nose leads with mineral-earthy elements followed by some petrol notes and touches of funk (in a pleasing way). It's medium sweet on the nicely textured palate with lime and petrol flavours. Acids are juicy and the finish length is very good. Tasted Feb/2017. Score: 88+ pts
