A fairly light, lean, tart Rosso, with notes of sour cherries and a touch of vanilla. Fairly light tannin and quite high acidity on the finish. Captures some of the essence of Sangiovese but a bit simple, like a decent Chianti. Good food wine, but a bit expensive for what it is. tasted Apr 2017.
