2004 vintage. A cooler year, but this 5th Growth Pauillac is in fine shape, "Classic" Bordeaux I suppose that they call this, Maturing blackberry fruit, along with well-integrate oak coat the palate. Tannin are smooth but still firm enough to ensure several more years of life. At nearly 19 years of age, this is still brimming with life. Lovely. Drink now through 2030+. Tasted May8/2023.
