Terredora is a premium producer of Greco in Campania and this version doesn't disappoint. Medium plus intensity aromatics, fruit profile is predominately citrus (lemon, lime) with a hint of apricot. Distinct minerality, herbs and spice and a creamy, fuller bodied mouthfeel. Good acidity and a well balanced package ending with excellent length. Very food friendly. Great value. July 2016.
Medium-intensity aromas of apricot, apple, peach, citrus and a whiff of smoke. It's fleshy with delicate acids on the medium-to-full bodied palate with ripe fruited aroma replays and a medium-to-long finish. Tasted Oct/2015.
Zesty, lemony and fresh. This would taste so much better if I were drinking it by the Mediterranean Sea. Drinking this in cold Canadian weather just doesn't do it justice.
Crisp and pure, this Greco offers harmonious aromas of tart lemon, bitter grapefruit, sweet apple, rich stone fruit, spicy white pepper, savoury raw nuts, and, interestingly, creamy white chocolate. These notes are held together on the palate by rocky minerality, the building richness balanced by zesty citrus acidity and subtle bitterness on the finish, time bringing rounder apple notes as well as a touch of concluding salinity, the nice length bringing a lovely aftertaste that enticingly pulls the elements back together. Complex but overly subdued, it's an 89 with upside to the 90-91 range.
