A balanced, dry (5g residual sugar) Sicilian red. Bright and fruity, with just a bit of the rustic oxidative notes that one often finds in southern Italian (or Sicilian) wines. Acidity and tannin are there to provide a nice balance to the fruit. As one would expect, a food wine, but one that could easily be enjoyed on its own. Fine value for sure.
