The nose is abundant tart red berries, maybe a hint of mushroom: bit this is more fruit than earthy.
Firm, higher acid, this is an aggressive Pinot Noir with wonderful flavours of tart cherries, under-ripe cranberry, mixed spices. Long on the finish.
A great example of Ontario Pinot Noir, decidedly fruit-friendly.
Tasted March 2016.

Attractive pale ruby colour. Nose has violets antd ripe berries with a bit of dustiness. Light to med bodied, with a seam of minerality and decent complexity. A touch austere yet, so probably better in a year or two. Good, honest Pinot for the price. Update Mar 2018: Has rounded out nicely now, and drinking beautifully. +1 on the score.
