I purchased this as I was so impressed with the Rustenberg Merlot (#404194). This wine has a full nose loaded with leather, tobacco, savory herbs and dark fruit. The wine has moderate length and, as Dave Lawrason described, a very tea-like finish. However, i just did not come together in the elegant and composed way that I wanted it to; it was a big rough around the edges.
