From first whiff, there is no doubting the quality of this Barbaresco. Aromatic, with notes of cherries and dried flowers. On the palate pure Nebbiolo, still notable tannin, with intense flavours of sour cherries, dried fruit and a touch of earthiness. Complex, long finishing with mouth puckering tannin and acidity....just as it should be. The purity of the fruit is remarkable. What a superb wine! But if you have a bottle, hold another 2 years, this is still a bit young. Best wine I have had in 2018. Tasted Nov 2018.
