Huge, ripe, highly concentrated with still massive chewy tannin and marked acidity. As JS said, most certainly not soft and cuddly, this is loaded with flavour from both the fruit and some oak (though this is well integrated). And did I mention the tannin....still omnipresent after 10 years. Wow. An impressive wine for sure, but still a few years from prime drinking in my view. Hold until at least 2021, I can imagine this sailing past its 20th birthday with ease. Tasted Dec 2018.
