This 90% Nero d'Avola and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon blend has medium-to-high intensity aromas of tilled earth, sage, herbs, black cherry and blackberry. It's medium-to-full bodied with integrated tannins and eucalyptus notes joining the aroma replays. Balanced acids and finishes long and smooth. Tasted Nov/2015.
As usual for Italian wines, an hour or two of leaving the bottle open really helped, but the wine truly opened up after 2.5 hours ! Very nice wine for the price. Tasted January 2016.
