Very boozy nose of raspberry and cherry jam, cocoa, brown sugar, raisin, vanilla, and just a bit of bell pepper. Quite sulphury too. Repeats on the palate: confected, sweet, and boozy. Medium body and acidity, with some harsh wood tannins. Boozy finish. Poor value.
