Not much to add to John and David's notes from 3 years ago, they were spot on. Classico Barolo here, without caving to the use of prominent oak. Still quite youthful with some noted tannin (this is Nebbiolo, after all), but this seems to have just entered prime drinking stage. This should hold for several more years. $40 for this level of Barolo is a bargain. Lovely. Tasted Oct 2018.
