From the clay soils of Four Mile Creek and the warm vintage that was 2012, the Stanners have crafted a fine Pinot to add to their growing and distinguished reputation for the varietal. Red cherry with notions of red berry, vibrant acidity and mild ripe tannin. Excellent length. Defintely tart and sour edged, this is a very food friendly Pinot. Overall another nice effort. June 2016.
