Malivoire gamay is my unofficial house red. There is some vintage variation, probably indicating minimal manipulation, but it is always highly drinkable. My impression is that this vintage has a tad less body and richness than the previous two vintages, but a bit more gamay typicity. In any case, it's refreshing, squeaky clean and has outstanding purity of fruit, as I've come to expect from Malivoire.

Pepper on fhe nose, the first taste is a little harsh. But it grows on me, and becomes a decent glass of wine. It develops an interesting finish. So be patient with it.
