The 2012 Malivoire Albert's Honour Old Vines Foch, aged in American Oak barrels for 10 months, has concentrated aromas of blackberry, forest berries and soft juniper on the nose and plum and subtle vanilla + coconut on the palate. It is a medium bodied, extra-dry/dry, fruity wine; with forward acidity, subtle tannins (decant for 30 min) and a medium finish. It is a food friendly and sipping wine; enjoy now to 2018+ (composite cork enclosure). My impression: NICE, 88-89 pts – recommended for its quality. Tasted in Feb/15.

Lively acidity. Quite dense. Smooth finish. Not sure it is a screaming buy at 24.95.
