I aged this wine since purchased in 2009. The best word to describe it is flat - no "violet blackberry" - in fact - little hint of fruit at all.

Perhaps if I decanted it first, some more flavour other than wood might have emerged. Sediment had formed all along the side of the bottle.

I wouldn't purchase again.
