Slight green tint, which suited the vibrant aromas of citrus, predominantly lime, as well as white peach, honey, and lemon zest.
Off-dry on the palate, herbed honey nicely strong mid-palate, with a medium+ length. Nice acid balance. Some bitter almond on the finish, with citrus zest staying all the way.
I think some added complexity after an extra year in cellar. Won't develop much over the long haul, but great value.
Tasted March 2016.
aromas of golden apples, peach, apricot, lemon, lime, honey, and a touch of pineapple. Some minerality as well. The citrus and honey are more prominent on the palate, along with a hint of pear. Fairly good length. Off-dry, with crisp acidity to balance. Balance would be better if the alcohol was 1 or 2% lower, to make it more crisp and refreshing.
A bit of an unremarkable riesling; the wine lacked significant depth of flavour that would be expected from a late harvested grape.
