The 2012 Chloe Chardonnay, sourced from Sonoma’s Russian River Valley, has fullish aromas of lemon, lees, gooseberry and oak on the nose and creamy gooseberry, vanilla and subtle wood on the palate. It is a medium bodied, dry, fruity wine; with checked acidity and a medium finish that is notably oily/creamy. Drink this wine with food – more specifically seafood; drink now and for the next couple of years, store upright (plastic cork enclosure). Rated 86 pts. Tasted in Nov/14.
