Here's a fine value, lively and authentic syrah, floral and very pretty, with elegant tannins and vibrant acids. Very...

Not as good as E. Guigal Cote du Rhone, which costs the same price.

This wine was a little disappointing - did not taste as good as the reviewers suggested it should. And also did not really taste like Syrah.

It's only wine but I like it

It's only wine but I like it

Quite floral, with lean and tart blackberry fruit, citrus and a hint of bug spray (why do some syrahs taste like Raid? though I have not partaken in that particular pesticide). This wine just does not work at all for me, it's just plain weird (not, that is not terroir). Some of the negociant wines coming out of southern France are becoming really mediocre these days. Tasted April 2016.
