Nice balance of acidity and dried-fruit sweetness. Medium-sweet, medium-bodied, great value. I use it in cooking with great success.

Simple, but pleasant sherry-style wine from Australia. Wines like this from outside of Spain are no longer labelled "sherry" as that name is reserved for sherries made in the Jerez region - this one is called Apera, Pleasant notes of dried fruit with hints of citrus (orange/lemon), with crisp acidity and not too sweet. Nothing special, but fine enough for $9. Tasted Dec 2017.
