Medium-bodied cab franc from one of the warmest vineyards in Niagara. Good, ripe fruit (mostly in the red spectrum), a bit earthy and herbaceous and a touch of bitterness on the finish. Oak is well integrated so plays second fiddle to the franc fruit. Fairly approachable at this stage, the wine seems in a fine place for drinking now but should hold a few more years. Picked up on sale for under $23. Tasted August 2018.
