The 2011 Stanners Vineyard Pinot Noir (unfiltered) has captivating bouquet of smoked meat, clove, cigar box and forest berries on the nose and raspberry, blackberry, subtle vanilla and wood on the palate. It is a light to medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity wine; BALANCED with good acidity, refined tannins and a long finish. Enjoy this wine on-its-own; drink now 2020+ (cork enclosure). My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 91-92 pts – recommended for its quality and value. Tasted at 'County in the City' event http://grapeselections.com/county-in-the-city-2014/ in Apr/14.

Tasted September 2014
A somewhat translucent Pinot, almost Rose like in colour. This is lighter than its 2010 cousin, with strawberry and currant fruit, an earthy savouriness and good PEC minerality. I found the fruit a little shy given the acidic edge. Tannins are quite soft. Overall very good. September 2014.
