This is a very powerful, upfront and brash young port, despite being six years down the pike. So the rating is more...

Spicy LBV Port with big red and black fruit. Blackberry, grape flavours, medium tannins, and a smooth warm finish. Yum!

A go-to port for me, once again this vintage impresses with its quality for so little money. Ripe dark dried fruits, quite sweet but with balancing acidity. Some good supporting tannin suggest some ageing potential but this is fine right now. Tasted Nov 2014.
