The 2006 Jackson-Triggs Delaine Vineyard Syrah has appealing aromas of yeasty raspberry and bilberry, sweet vanilla and cigar box. It is a light to medium bodied, extra-dry, integrated wine; with good, refreshing acidity, refined/grippy tannins and a medium to long, smooth finish. This is a sipping wine; drink now – 2018+. My impression: NICE to BEAUTIFUL, 91 pts – recommended for its quality. This wine is sold out and was only available at Cuvée en Route 2014.
