The 2011 Argiano Rosso Di Montalcino, composed of 100% Sangiovese aged in oak for 12 monts, has appealing notes of figs, plum and pomegranate. It is a medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity wine; with forward acidity, grippy tannins and a medium finish. Drink now – 2020. My impression: NICE, 89 pts.
