A light ruby meritage style wine with cab franc leading the way. This 2011 has sweet tannic grip, so likely could use another year for integration. A pleasant nose and notes of dark fruit, but the palate is a touch hot in a medium bodied frame with overt oak influence (mocha). Like a gangly teenager, needing some time to fit into his own skin.
