My first impression was an incredible smoothness and purity on the bouquet and the taste. It just got better and better. Maybe the impression by some reviewers that it is not ready was solved by a few hours in the carafe. It started with the subtlety of a Pinot Noir, and evolved to the power of a Chateauneuf du Pape, with an amazing peppery finish. There are still some left at this writing; I am going to stock up on this one.
Very fruity, very nice. Seems like all the elements for an outstanding wine are there, but haven't quite come together. Give it some more time. (Tasted Feb 2015)
