This is a medium bodied supple wine that drinks really smooth and fresh. The Merlot percentage is most evident offering soft coco notes but there's also hints of herbs and smoke. It could have benefited from more oak aging...everybody's so scared to use oak these days. Anyway, a good wine just not as special as JS may have thought.
