Fresh, lighter bodied merlot based Bordeaux here. No heavy wooding, or extraction, just simple easy drinking red, true to its origins. The cab franc component shows through here in a pleasant leafiness. Thins a bit on the finish, but a lot to like here. Tasted Jan 2016.
