With a blend of 55% Shiraz and 45% Merlot the wine opens in the glass with walnut shell, cashew, brown note book and licorice. The wine’s tannins and acids are fresh and in balance with the fruit and are open for early drinking. A cold ash and cream note through the finish reminds me of Pierre Robert cheese, something I find particularly attractive with this wine. Drink now and over the next couple years.
