Lots and lots of lime juice on the nose, as well as kerosene with age, slight bruised apple.

Citrus abounds on the palate, more lime than lemon, over applesauce. Some mineral notes on the finish.

I was intrigued to see how this would be drinking eighty years on; surprisingly well! Still zippy, and if not an elegant Riesling, it's an intriguing sip.
