This 2011 Calamus Riesling has classic Riesling aromas with oily, lemon, lime and yellow apple notes. It is a medium bodied, extra-dry perceivably dry, fruity wine; with good, refreshing acidity, and a medium, oily finish. It is food friendly or can be enjoyed on its own; drink now – 2017. My impression: quite NICE, 89 pts – recommended for its quality and value – especially that it is now on Bin-end Clearance. Tasted Feb/14.
