Cassis, spices, smoke, and meatiness on the nose. It is fruity, juicy, and has soft-tannins. Amazing structure at this price point.
The 2012 Caliterra Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva has appealing aromas of eucalyptus and red currant on the nose and pomegranate, red currant, vanilla and oak on the palate. It is a medium bodied, dry, fruity wine; with forward/notable acidity, grippy tannins (decant for 15-30 min) and a medium to long, smooth finish. Drink with food or sip by itself; drink now – 2017 (screw cap). My impression: NICE, 89 pts – recommended for its quality and value (this $10 wine keeps on over-delivering vintage after vintage). Tasted Jan/14.

wow, for under $10 this rocks
Very fruity...Good cheap wine if you like fruity. Tasted Dec 2013.
Med ruby, youthful look. Ripe blackberry with some green herbs on the nose. Fruity blackberry with vanilla and green herbs. Soft tannins. Very drinkable. Finishes with the fruit and slightly spicy note. Very nice for the dollars.
Lovely smokey, fruity nose. Good flavour if a little flat on the tongue. But for this price point, very good.
A simple, fruity but well-made Chilean Cab. Pleasant red fruits, backed by herbal notes and a relatively short finish. Actually reminds me a bit of decent Niagara reds oddly enough. Quality is in line with a $13 wine, so this represents fine value at $10. Certainly worth a look if you are tight on cash. Tasted Feb 2014.
From the time you pour this wine it is an enjoyable wine. Fruity, ripe fruit, faint oak. Very good colour. Finish is a bit green, to be expected from an 18 month old wine under $10. Excellent value.
