Fantastic value, showing true character of vineyard and winemaking resulting in an exemplary southern Rhone white blend. Lime, peach and yellow pear Pez candy, all crushed in stone mortar are some of the aromas wafting in the glass. The palate is medium body, dry, fruity, mellow acid and broad mouth coating extract. The richness of fruit surprisingly refreshed and cooled my palate after some extra spicy vindaloo, a pairing I thought wouldn't work but actually worked brilliant. We drained the bottle looking for more. Tasted Oct '13

The 2011 La Ferme Du Mont La Truffière, composed of 50 % Grenache white, 40% Viognier and 10% Clairette, has subtle aromas of light pear, green apple, light lees and honeysuckle and faint petrol-like notes. It is a medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity wine, with crisp acidity and a medium, tongue coating finish. My impression: NICE, 89 pts. Tasted at La Ferme Du Mont luncheon hosted by Stéphane Vedeau July/13.

Winemaker Stefan Vedeau takes a non-interventionist approach to wine: his family-run winery observes environmentally friendly, organic winemaking and the results are lovely. This white Rhône is a blend of 50% white Grenache, 40% Viognier and 10% Clairette, offering aromas of honey, roasted nuts, lemon balm and exotic flowers. The palate is full bodied and rich with honey, orange blossom, cardamom spice, floral notes and a bitter citrus pith finish. Bright acidity offers freshness. Dynamite with scallop ceviche.

This white wine is a blend of 50% Grenache blanc, 40% Viognier, and 10% Clairette and matured in concrete vats for at least 8 months. Quite aromatic with crisp, fresh herbal, pear, floral and mineral aromas, along with hints of mushroom. Crisp acidity on the medium-bodied palate with floral, leesy, lemon, and grapefruit notes. Extra dry, medium-long finish. Pairs well with lighter seafood dishes, and could also be enjoyed on its own on the patio. Tasted July/2013.
