The 2011 Emiliana Adobe Reserva Merlot has appealing aromas of earthy, stewed, red currant, blackberry and blueberry. It is a full-bodied, dry, fruity wine, with forward acidity, refined tannins and a medium finish. It is food friendly; drink now – 2016. My impression: NOTHING SPECIAL, 87 pts. Tasted at Wines of Chile 2013 tasting in October/13 - http://grapeselections.com/wines-of-chile-2013/

Soft, approachable merlot (with 15% syrah). Red berry fruit with notable herbeceous notes and a bit hollow tasting which might indicate high yields. Actually, kind of reminds me of an inexpensive Niagara red. Certainly a decent wine, but not particularly memorable ....and just average value. Drink now. Tasted Sept 2013.
Just good. The review saying that it tastes like a basic Niagara and is a bit hollow is spot on. The aroma is not so great, sorta like bad body odour....like a bad Sauvignon Blanc odour. Finished the bottle, taste is good, but would not purchase again based on poor aroma!
