The 2011 Rosewood Estates Semillon has pleasing aromas of green/yellow apple and slightly floral/honey-like notes. It is a light, fruity, perceivably dry wine (off-dry) with forward acidity giving the impression of lower sweetness; and a medium, clean finish. Food friendly and a sipper; drink now – 2017+. Tasted at Rosewood Semillon Vertical Tasting (http://grapeselections.com/semillon-vertical-tasting-rosewood-estates/) in June/13 and rated it 90 pts.

The nose on this one sort of fooled me as to how it would taste. Lots of green apple and lemon-lime notes on the nose, thought it's rounder and sweeter on the palate with some honey and butter notes, along with a bit of minerality. It's quite round in the mouth with medium-high acid and medium length finish. Tasted September 2013.
