Great!
Good for the price, albeit a lesser Rioja.
This is a pleasant and reasonably smooth wine for the price, but perhaps there is a bit too much wood or cedar or pencil for my taste. It does not reach ninety territory in my opinion.
A pleasant, medium-bodied Rioja, with decent if unexceptional flavours in the red fruit spectrum. interestingly, unlike JS, I don't perceive much oak in this wine and I am quite sensitive to that (bottle variation?). Decent acidity and tannin and just an average finish. Good wine, but a bit boring to be honest. Tasted July 2014.
