I really liked this wine - guess I'm not a wine aficionado.
I'm sure for 99% of the wine drinkers out there, this will not disappoint.
Looks like I sit squarely between the professional critics and those community reviewers that like this Cali cab. On the one hand, use of oak and confected sweetness is over the top. Typical cab tannins seem curiously subdued. On the other hand, it is approachable, widely appealing (good for group gatherings where it's hard to anticipate varying tastes), has some length and is not unpleasant to drink. (Ok, I'm being a bit generous). Look at me, I could be a politician the way I danced around this one! Tasted Dec. 2013.
Was gifted a bottle.
I hate to be a snob but for my tastes, this was sort of garbage.
Very sweet in an artificial, mass-produced way.
If you're a fan of white zinfandel this is the red wine for you.
Could not get past the candied fruit. Very sweet and disapointing.
