The 2011 Craggy Range Te Nuna Road Sauvignon Blanc, sourced from Martinborough and then matured in French Oak barriques for 3 months, has intense gooseberry aromas. It is medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity wine with forward acidity and a medium finish. My impression: NOTHING SPECIAL, 87 pts. Tasted in May/13 at 'Tasted at New Zealand Wine Fair' http://grapeselections.com/new-zealand-wine-fair/.
