An intriguing, complex, evidently very ripe, slightly raisined and high-toned, yet thoroughly inviting, dried flower,...

This is an intriguing, quite plush yet nicely balanced red settling into prime time. The nose is lifted and exotic...

Rich, smooth and reasonably complex, with a good finish. I liked this from the start, and it got better with each glass. What a treat.

Nice ruby colour with a slightly watery rim. Incredible aroma with huge hints of earth, smoke and herbaceousness. Almost a touch of smouldering campfire. It's medium bodied with mouth watering acid and dry tannins with the finish lingering for a minute plus. Seemed very complex and a great value at under 20 dollars.

A ruby magenta wine, I found the nose a tad shy, but detected meaty notes, lead pencil, pepper and some vegetal characteristics. On the palate, red and dark fruit, notably cherry, and plum. Peppery spice, good acidity and well balanced and integrated. Tannins still have their winter tires on, but switched to all season after some decanting. A hint of heat on the lingering finish. Rocked with pasta ar rabiata. Grip it n' sip it! June 2013.
