This is a slim, delicious, quite concentrated "off-dry' riesling. It's quite honeyed with yellow pear/plum aromas and...

Don't let the pale colour fool you. This wine has chutzpah. Vivacious and bright. Good acidity and minerality. Apples and tangerines dominate this off dry riesling. The acidity provides balanced pucker power that off sets the ripe 2010 fruit and added juice. My first sussreserve, and I'll always remember it. Like most good Niagara rieslings, this would match well with Asian cuisine, but great on its own. Grip it n' sip it! (March 2013)

Made using the more traditional (for Ontario) Weis 21B Riesling varietal. Relatively closed nose with aromas of lime, mineral, petrol and honey. Medium-dry on the palate with lots of minerality and some petrol and honey notes. Good acidity, and very-well balanced. Finish is sweet (but not too sweet or cloying) and long. Tasted Oct/2012.
